A Surcharge will be applied for single occupancy of a Double, Twin or Family room. Please contact us for details.
Minimum TWO night stay for advanced bookings for Saturday nights in our Premium rooms (April - October).
Minimum two night bookings for all Bank Holidays.
* The Willowfield has only one single room – at the front of the 1st floor which has private facilities – not en-suite.
** Room 10 (ground floor twin) has an en-suite bathroom

Regular Reductions

A charge of £20 per night will be applied for children under 14, when sharing a room.
There is no charge for children under 18 months.

Ancilliary Charges

Hire of Travel Cot - £5 per night
Dogs - £5 per night

Guests are recommended to take out appropriate HOLIDAY INSURANCE to cover unforseen circumstances which may lead to cancellation at short notice.

Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation with The Wllowfield (we/us/our), a legally binding contract is created which is subject to the following terms and conditions

1.

Price

The price payable is for acommodation and breakfast for the number of nights booked.  The price is inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate

2.

Deposit

A deposit of £30 (minimum) per room is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by us.  At our sole discretion, where the booking is made less than a calendar month prior to the date of the stay, the deposit may be waived. In this case, credit card or debit card details will be required to act as a guarantee for the booking.  Deposits are payable by credit card, debit card or cheque

3.

Confirmation

Bookings will be considered to be ‘Provisional’ until a deposit has been received, or until card details have been provided and verified.  A written confirmation will be sent (via e-mail or post) if required.

4.

Payment

The full balance must be settled upon departure.  We accept American Express1, Electron, Maestro, Mastercard, Solo, Visa & Visa Debit cards. Cheques are not accepted for settlement of account unless agreed in advance by us.
1  American Express is only Accepted by prior arrangement and is subject to a 3% surcharge (of the total amount payable)

5a.

Cancellation
(By You)

Where a room is cancelled more than 14 days prior to the booked arrival date, the full deposit will be returned, less a £10 administration charge.
Where a room is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the booked arrival date, where you fail to arrive (“no-show”), or where you leave before your due departure date, we reserve the right to  charge you the full balance for your booked stay less any costs not incurred by us as a result of your cancellation.
Any refunds due will be made to the Credit/Debit card account which was used as payment or guarantee or by cheque where the deposit was paid by cheque.

5b.

Cancellation
(By The Willowfield)

We will only cancel your reservation if: a) The accommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control and suitable alternative accommodation is not available.  Or b) Your deposit payment is returned by your bank / card provider.
In the case of (a) above, if the alternative accommodation offered is not acceptable, you have the right to treat the booking as cancelled upon which we will refund any monies paid. In this circumstance, you will not be liable for any further payment.
In any circumstance where you are entitled to compensation, the limit of our liability to you, arising from our breach of contract shall be up to a maximum of twice the cost of your booking.

6.

Arrival & Departure

You will be able to check-in between the hours of 14:00 & 21:00
Arrivals after 21:00 (9pm) will not be accepted and will be treated as a Cancellation by you whereby clause 5(b) shall apply.
On the day of departure, you are required to vacate your room by 10:30. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to charge for an additional night’s stay.

7.

Damage & Breakage

We are sure that you will take care whilst you stay with us, and we acknowledge that accidents sometimes happen.  We do however reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages which we consider to be deliberately or recklessly caused.  You will be notified in writing as soon as is reasonably practicable, if the damage is discovered after you depart.  We also reserve the right to charge further sums if we are unable to re-let the room as a consequence of the damage

8.

Smoking Policy

The Willowfield is a No Smoking Establishment.  If we find that guests have been smoking in the building, we reserve the right ask you to leave immediately.  You will remain liable for the whole of the cost of your stay.  Whether or not you are asked to leave, we also reserve the right to charge a sum equivalent to one night’s stay if we are unable to re-let the room for 24 hours whilst it is fully aired and deep cleaned.  You will be notified in writing as soon as is reasonably practicable if evidence of smoking is discovered after you depart.

9.

Pets

At our sole discretion, we may accept a single well behaved dog for a charge of £5.00 per night in specific rooms only.  No other type of pets are accepted.
Dogs are not permitted on the furniture in any room and are not permitted into the Conservatory/Dining room at any time.
Dogs must not be left unattended in the rooms at any time.
We reserve the right to charge an additional sum in the event of damage being caused, or additional cleaning being required.  You will be notified in writing as soon as is reasonable practicable, if the damage is discovered after you depart.

10.

Our Liability

We do not accept any liability for damage to your property or injury to you (or other members of your party) whilst on our premises unless caused by the negligence of The Willowfield or its employees.

11.

Data

Any data collected as a result of your booking will be stored in accordance with the provisions of current Data Protection legislation

12.

Law

Any dispute between The Willowfield and you will be governed by the non-exclusive law of the English Courts
